Women’s Running retreat

Spring in the Methow is the best. Bring your lady friends or meet some new ones and spend a weekend kicking off the season with running, yoga, writing, and relaxing.

Run as much or as little as you want with our guided runs. Distances vary from 6-15 miles each day*. Eat nourishing food, write, relax, do yoga, and run some more (or not).

Each participant will receive a packet with training, technique, and nutrition information, as well as writing prompts to spark creativity and conversation.

*If you’d like less or more than that, we can accommodate!

  • You! Bring your gal pals, or come solo where you’ll meet new friends. All levels of runners welcome, even if you don’t consider yourself a runner. This retreat has turned non-runners into runners, and if you don’t want to be persuaded, you truly get a retreat!

  • A spring reset: a weekend filled with running, eating, relaxing, and writing in a beautiful setting. Creativity builds energy and running spurs creativity, so let’s mix them!

Guided running, writing, and enjoying the Methow spring with fun women. Breakfasts and lunches are included. Everything is optional so you can have a weekend exactly the way you want it.

  • We’ll be based in the historic Cascade Endurance/Alpine Dreams building in the heart of Mazama, behind the Mazama Store courtyard.

*Please note, registration does not include lodging, so you can choose the best option to fit your budget.

    Here are some close options:

    Mazama Ranch House

    Inn at Mazama

Or camp at Early Winters Campground

  • May 16-18, 2025

We’ll kick the weekend off at 3pm but come whenever you can!

  • Run

Spring in the Methow is magical. Run as much or as little as your heart desires through wildflowers, taking in the sweet pines’ smell and feel the warm sun on your skin.

  • WRITE

Each afternoon we’ll have writing prompts to spur creativity. No experience necessary. Or sneak off to write on your own, or simply relax!

  • reset

Sit by (or hop into) the river, claim a nook to read (from our library or your own book), do some art, jump into a yin yoga class (included and optional), or run some more-whatever helps you reset for the months ahead.
